Classification of Economic Sectors (WZ 2008)

The classification of economic sectors (WZ 2008), was created with intensive participation of data users and data producers in administration, economy, research and society and serves to record the economic activities of enterprises, establishments and other statistical units uniformly in all official statistics. It takes into account the requirements of the statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community (NACE Rev. 2).
