Capacity of Wind Onshore until 2050 – Target Values (Europe NUTS-0)

The target values triggering the FfE wind model to install new wind turbines are based on the National Trend Scenario of the Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP). The values of 2050 are linear extrapolated from the data of 2030 and 2040. In the TYNDP only data from 2025 are available, therefore the values of 2020 were interpolated using data of the year 2018 of IRENA 2019 and the year 2025 of the TYNDP.
